In the series of reflections on God\u2019s \u2018NOW\u2019, I have come to the second time Jesus said:\u00a0\u201cmy time has not yet come\u201d<\/i>. It was said in response to his brothers who had urged him to go to Judea for the Festival of Tabernacles\u00a0(1). Jesus also told his brothers that they could go. They left for the festival whilst Jesus remained in Galilee, and the story continues:\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cHowever, after his brothers had left for the festival, he went also, not publicly, but in secret.\u201d<\/i>
John 7:10<\/p><\/blockquote>

What on earth made Jesus change his mind? What influenced God\u2019s \u2018NOW\u2019 this time?\u00a0<\/p>

I think the answer is found in the next verse:\u00a0
Now at the festival the Jewish leaders were watching for Jesus and asking,\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cWhere is he?\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>

It is likely that the Jewish leaders were looking for him with wrong motives, but other people at the festival were \u2018seeking\u2019 him because\u00a0\u201cHe is a good man\u201d<\/i>\u00a0(v 12).\u00a0<\/p>

When Jeremiah shared God\u2019s word to the people in captivity about future and hope, he also included this promise:\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cYou will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you\u201d<\/i>
Jeremiah 29:13-14a<\/p><\/blockquote>

When people are whole-hearted and sincere in their search for God, I believe that they influence God\u2019s NOW. I believe that He is there already, \u2018but in secret\u2019!\u00a0<\/p>

\u2018Manna\u2019 for today\u00a0<\/p>

God is already where you are \u2013 but in secret<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>
