Music is a special language of my communication with God! When I used to be a small girl I understood that I could not imagine my life without music, beautiful tunes and heartfelt lyrics. Thus, I used any opportunity to take part in the School Choir rehearsals, performed the solo at the singing lessons and finished the musical school, piano department.

But then, in the distant nineties, I could not even imagine that the Lord would claim me for the service in the Church of the Salvation Army – to become a music leader!

Having visited Sunday service once, I was pleasantly surprised by what I found – my heart was specially touched by the words, which were deeply penetrating into the most secret corners of my soul and were creating a great deal of positive emotions. With every cell in my body I felt and realized that the Lord Himself spoke to me through music! That day, I made a major decision to devote all my life to the service to God in the Church of the Salvation Army!

For me, every Sunday has been a real holiday and an essential part of my spiritual life for many years! Is there anything greater than bowing down in worship together with your brothers and sisters in Christ, giving glory and praise to the Throne of God!

A worship team is special people who serve God with their talents and lead the whole church in living and sincere worship! They are not just singers and musicians who please themselves and entertain the crowd, but they are spiritual people who are engaged in the most important work and perform the main task – during worshiping they bring everyone into the presence of God, because glorification is a spiritual key that opens the doors of God’s secrets and revelations!

Jesus said in John 4:23-24:

«Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth».

Psalm 32:1-3, teaches us:

«Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;
    it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp;
    make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song;
    play skillfully, and shout for joy …»

During Sunday meetings, various musical instruments can be used during the worship – a guitar (acoustics, electro, bass), drums, keys, violin, clarinet, saxophone or even a brass band – such diversity allows creating and applying various styles of rhythms and melodies  in glorification and all this is for the purpose of manifesting a high degree of praise and worship of our Almighty God!

Worship in the church is important for people of different ages – we have children and youth songs, older people also enjoy singing the songs of glorification.

Annually the Church of the Salvation Army solemnly celebrates Christmas, Palm Sunday, Easter, Holy Trinity Day, Thanksgiving Day and many other Christian holidays, gratefully praising and singing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

Praising psalm 99   «Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness;

come before him with joyful songs.Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his;we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving  and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.

 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations
